Installation Instructions

Pourseal-T

Important!

  • The surface must be dry, stable, and free from dust and release agents.
  • Avoid cracks and creases. Openings, holes, or cracks in the substrate must be sealed and closed in advance to prevent the mixture/sealant from leaking out.
  • Absorbent and porous surfaces such as concrete, plaster, soft wood fiber boards, etc. must be pre-treated with a suitable acrylic primer for the surface.
  • In case of doubt, perform an adhesion test.
  • For bitumen-based welded substrates, remove sand and/or protective film, for example by applying hot air.
  • The liquid sealant (mixed) cures through a reaction between the two chemical components and adheres to the inside of the rubber collar on the mold.
  • Precautions and safety recommendations can be found in the safety data sheet or the technical data sheet.
  • Use protective gloves when casting and as needed!
  • The product should be stored indoors and always mixed at a minimum of +17 °C and cast/used at a minimum of -10 °C.
  • During casting and curing outdoors, protect against possible wet weather.
  • Calculate the consumption based on the size of the frame (different consumption per frame) and ensure that the casting depth is at least two flanges high in the rubber frame (at least 15 mm).
