AirGap Extend

• Fasteners (mechanical attachment) should be galvanized corrosion-protected staples (140/10) or roofing nails at least 25 x 2.5 mm.
• For optimal air tightness, the joints are taped in overlap with Sealing Tape T-Flex.

• Storage and warehousing should always be protected from precipitation.
• The air gap boards are moisture-repellent, but precipitation and adverse weather conditions during and after installation should be avoided.

SE The installation of the boards is done from bottom to top. Insert the board as shown in the picture! When using a hanging underlay, finish the spacers at the lowest point of the fabric.

NO The plates are mounted from bottom to top. Insert the plate as shown in the picture. If a hanging underlay is used, finish the spacers at the lowest point of the fabric.

EN The boards are mounted from the bottom up. Insert the board as shown! In the case of a hanging underlayment, finish the spacing at the lowest point of the underlayment.

SE Fastening (A): Corrosion-protected Rapid 140/10 (or equivalent) alternatively galvanized roofing nail 25 x 2.5 mm. Joint taping (B): Sealing Tape T-Flex. Fixation (C): For c1200, finish with a screwed wooden block that the board is clamped against. Alternatively, without a wooden block, only screwed through one of the two middle spacers at the upper edge. Choose a screw with a larger head and a length of 40-45 mm (Note! The screw must not go through the roof underlay!)

NO Fastening (A): Corrosion-protected Rapid 140/10 (or equivalent) or galvanized roofing nails at 25 x 2.5 mm. Joint tape (B): Sealing tape T-Flex. Fixation (C): For c1200, finish with a screwed wooden block that the plate is pressed against. Alternatively, without a wooden block, simply screw through one of the two middle spacers at the top edge. Choose a screw with a larger head and a length of 40–45 mm. (Note! The screw must not go through the roof underlay!) Press the plate firmly against the block.

EN Mounting (A): Corrosion-resistant Rapid 140/10 (or equivalent) or 25 x 2.5 mm galvanised roofing nails. Splice taping (B): T-Flex sealing tape. Fixation (C): For c1200, finish with screwed wooden blocks which the board is clamped against. Alternatively, without a wooden block, simply screw through one of the two middle spacers at the upper edge. Choose a screw with a larger head and a length of 40-45 mm. (Note: The screw must not penetrate the roof underlayment!)
