- Rolls should be stored upright on a flat, dry surface and protected from sun and precipitation.
- YEP 2500 is diffusion-tight and when mounted on a wooden substrate, the space underneath should be ventilated according to standard practice.
1. Sill insulation on foundation wall
The strip should cover at least the width of the sill board. Cross joints should be made with at least 150 mm overlap and longitudinal joints with at least 80 mm. The strip is clamped between the sill and the foundation.
2. Under the flashing
The strip should cover at least the width (of the base plate) plus 150 mm. The cross joint should be made with at least 150 mm overlap. The strip is clamped between the base plate and the nailable substrate
3. Moisture protection for decking joists
The strip should cover the top edge of the beam and at least 10 mm on each side. The protruding edges are folded down to create a drip edge. The strip is clamped between the decking and the beam or alternatively between the beam and the bearer.
