Ensure that the foundation is level, even, and well-cleaned. Remove irregularities and loose debris. Then lay out
the sill insulation starting in a corner. The sill insulation is fixed to the substrate with approved
adhesive putty, double-sided butyl tape, or minimal nailing with steel nails through the foam part (clamped
between foundation and sill).

The final sill insulation shall be completed (spliced)
and meet the end of the starting strip. Short side against long side.
Any cross joints are made equally abrupt (short side against
short side).

All joints (cross as end) should be taped with Sealing Tape T-Flex. The taping is done along and over
the joint line as well as over the outer edge down and in under the sill strip at least 4 cm. Press the tape evenly.

The sill insulation should, with properly executed joints, form a completely moisture-proof layer between the foundation and the sill, as well as being airtight from the edge and under the sill.
