Press the leaf stopper into the gutter with the opening facing downwards. The opening should be 4-6 cm wide. Any leaf guard should be removed. The pipe stays in place by itself between the roof overhang/inner plate and the outer edge of the gutter.
The pipes are laid end to end in the longitudinal direction.
Cut to size and fold in the ends
Before installation, the gutter fittings and hooks may need to be adjusted to avoid gaps between the net and the gutter's long side. This is easily done with pliers or a polygrip. If the opening does not reach 4-6 cm, the net should be cut lengthwise. This should also be done for varying gutter widths
In exceptional cases, e.g., in the event of a risk of snow slide or to secure the net against the footplate, the net should be fastened with a bracket at each end.
The bracket hooks over the edge of the gutter and attaches with the small hook in the gutter seam.
At the footplate, the bracket is threaded through the net.
