- T-Butyl Joint Tape is used as a splicing aid, for extra sealing, or for repairs.
- The ventilation and air exchange of the crawl space should be outdoor air ventilated and is assumed to be according to standard practice.
- The function as a radon barrier is based on normal risk areas and the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's requirement of a maximum of 200 Bq/m.

- Storage should be protected from sunlight (UV radiation) and higher temperatures (>+35°C) as this shortens the lifespan.
