Now we are stepping up with T-Wind Pro Bio
We are now launching a new windbreak with excellent protective properties and a strong focus on sustainable construction.
The product is ISCC+ certified and meets the requirements to reach step two on our Bio Ladder. This means it is a good environmental choice and we continue to develop the product to make it even more sustainable.
T-Wind Pro Bio is an elastic and soft wind barrier with good diffusion-open properties that allow moisture and vapor to escape from the structure. The wind barrier is used in the outer climate shield on the outside of the insulation in the exterior wall construction, to protect the insulation material against air movement and moisture.
– Highly diffusion-open
– Good light exposure facilitates assembly
– 50 years of age resistance
– Rainproof W1
– Bio-based content according to the mass balance principle
The Bio Ladder
The Biostaircase is our own sustainability label. With it, we want to transparently make it easy for you to find our most sustainable products. It also demonstrates our ambition in these matters – to never settle for meeting the minimum requirements. A product that has reached the first step on the staircase is not finished. Instead, our product development work continues for the product to reach the top step.
BIO – The product consists of at least 90% bio-based raw materials.
MB (MassBalance) – ISCC-certified products according to the mass balance principle.
GO – Products that are slightly more sustainable today than they were yesterday.
The Intermediate Step –
Mass Balance
A product that is at the intermediate stage on the Bio-ladder is well on its way. At the same time, there are often technical limitations that prevent us from immediately using only bio-based raw materials while maintaining the product's high performance. We believe there is value in sharing how far we have come, even if the product development is not yet complete.
The ISCC certification according to the mass balance principle is a way to gradually transition to renewable raw materials. The label means that renewable raw materials are used in production, but not necessarily that the product you hold in your hand contains a promised percentage. Yet. It's a bit like when you choose green electricity. You know that your electricity producer generates a certain proportion of electricity from renewable sources, but you cannot know that the electricity in your wires comes from, for example, wind or water.
We see ISCC as a necessary step on the path towards fully bio-based products with the same excellent quality you are accustomed to finding at TECCA.

”“We don't have all the answers, but we are convinced that this is the right way forward”
We have set ambitious goals for our sustainability efforts, both in terms of ecological and social sustainability. As an important step in this development, we have hired Marilyn Lindh as a sustainability developer.
At TECCA, we see caring for the planet and its people as our duty and a task we want to prioritize. At the same time, we are humble in acknowledging that these are big and difficult issues. "We don't have all the answers, but we are convinced that this is the right way forward," says Marilyn
”"Taking responsibility for social and ecological sustainability is a driving force for us, but it is also clear that it will become necessary for our customers. Everyone will need to be able to demonstrate that they are building sustainably," emphasizes Marilyn. It is about both consumer demands and legislation, according to Marilyn. We all need to adapt, and TECCA wants to be part of enabling the change by developing sustainable products and keeping track of our supply chains.
