New and smart features for Wind Deflectors and Air Gap Boards
We are now launching our new and updated Wind Deflector and Air Gap Board with features that make it easier and more efficient for you during installation.
With the new design, you get a more stable and secure construction and an easier assembly that no longer requires nails and washers. Additionally, the new products are packaged in pallet-adapted boxes that simplify the handling process and provide significantly better protection for the products.
The Wind Deflector and Air Gap Board are made of special corrugated material, with wind-protective properties. The products are part of a system where both can be used together, or alternatively, the Wind Deflector can be used independently - it depends on the design of the roof structure.
WIND DEFLECTOR
Our new and updated Wind Deflector has a renewed, more stable, and safer construction and a new design that is made to fit even better with the Air Gap Board - providing you with a better and more functional system solution. It is also updated with spacers in a new foam material (expanded polyethylene) that makes it easier for you during installation and provides a more stable construction.
The product is used as an external climate shield from the top of the wall to the upper edge of the attic beam layer's insulation. In conjunction with the Air Gap Board, a longer ventilation gap can be created for, for example, parallel roofs. The wind deflector is diffusion-open, moisture-repellent, and ensures the ventilation gap and ventilation at the eaves.
The product is available in two different dimensions: 1240 x 642 mm and 1240 x 1242 mm.
AIR GAP BOARD
We have also updated our Air Gap Board to make it more stable and secure, as well as to give it a design that makes it fit even better with the Wind Deflector. A system solution approach, simply put. The Air Gap Board has also been updated with spacers in a new foam material (expanded polyethylene).
The air gap board is used as an extension of the wind deflector and together they provide a longer ventilation gap for, for example, parallel roofs. The board is diffusion-open, moisture-repellent, and ensures the ventilation gap in parallel roofs or alternatively cold attics.
The product is available in two different dimensions: 1560 x 642 mm and 1560 x 1242 mm.
