A basement exterior wall can be protected with, for example, T-Spärr moisture protection mat with an associated system. A crawl space can be moisture protected by using TECCA's crawl space foam, which insulates the foundation and thereby raises the temperature in the crawl space, reducing the risk of condensation. The crawl space foam also functions as a vapor barrier and a brake for radon gas. A concrete slab on the ground is moisture protected through drainage and insulation. When the wall plate meets the foundation, different materials often meet, such as wood and concrete. Therefore, it is important to moisture-proof the more sensitive parts.
