Biotrappan - Our own sustainability label

Biotrappan is our own sustainability label. With it, we want to transparently make it easy for you to find our most sustainable products. Based on the product's sustainability characteristics, we have assigned these products different symbols -BIO, BIO MBor BIO GO - depending on where they are on the Biotrappan.

 

We believe there is value in sharing how far we have come in our sustainability efforts, even if product development is not yet complete. It also demonstrates our ambition in these matters – to never settle for meeting the minimum requirements

BIO - Products labeled BIO are at the top of the Bio ladder and consist of at least 90% bio-based raw material.
 
BIO MB - Products labeled BIO MB follow the mass balance principle and have, for example, ISCC certification. BIO MB products are well on their way up the Bio ladder but often have some technical requirement that prevents us from immediately using only bio-based raw materials while maintaining the product's high performance.

BIO GO - Products labeled BIO GO have undergone certain sustainability improvements but have not yet progressed beyond the first step on the Bio Ladder. BIO GO products are still under development in terms of their sustainability.
