On the way to a fossil-free climate shell
A journey. That is what we envision when we think about sustainability. And we are not alone on this path. Most of us have probably been traveling for a while. We have come different distances, and perhaps we have different goals. But the final destination is still the same, a sustainable world for ourselves and for future generations.
Comprehensive and credible reports* clearly show what will happen if we do not transition together. We must find new ways to produce and consume. Put sustainability at the top of the priority list and create change together.
For some time now, we have been working on a project we call Fossil-Free Climate Shell. The project name reflects a high ambition, a goal that may sometimes feel distant, but one we are not willing to compromise on.
100% fossil-free products, in terms of content, production, and transport, are what we strive for.
That's where we must ultimately reach. However, the road offers some surprises. Downhills and straight stretches are delightful, but sometimes we are forced to dismount and lead the bike past obstacles on the road or up steep hills. It can be frustrating not always being able to maintain the desired speed, but we keep moving forward. We reach our various milestones along the way and we want to share our journey.
*E.g. the latest report from the IPCC, the UN body for analyzing research related to climate change.
”"In supplier discussions regarding strategic purchasing, we always place great emphasis on sustainability. This ensures that our suppliers are well aware of our ambitions in these matters, which drives development in our collaboration to achieve set goals."”.

Products for a Fossil-Free Climate Shell
Today, we have three products where we have made significant progress. These are products for use in the building's climate shield, all with at least 90% bio-based content. T-Foil Standard BIO with plastic made from sugarcane, and AirGap Eaves and AirGap Extend, made from a mix of new and recycled cellulose.
With these three products, our transition towards a fossil-free climate shell has begun, and we continue forward with undiminished energy. Follow our journey here on teccaworld.com and on our social media: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
T-Foil Standard Bio
T-Foil Standard BIO is an air and vapor barrier made of alkali and aging-resistant polyethylene with high diffusion density and strength. The product is made of bio-based LD polyethylene produced from 90% fossil-free and renewable plant material.
To the productAirGap Extend
Moisture-protective air gap board made of special corrugated material with windproof properties for insulation in roof structures. The board is diffusion-open, moisture-repellent, and equipped with spacers that ensure the ventilation gap in parallel roofs or cold attics.
To the productAirGap Eaves
Moisture-protective wind deflector made of special corrugated material with wind-protective properties for insulation at the eaves. The board is diffusion-open, moisture-repellent, and equipped with spacers that ensure the ventilation gap and ventilation at the eaves.
