New, lighter, and more flexible. That is how one can summarize T-Roof YEM 1000. Our first underlay specifically adapted for welded waterproofing membranes. Thanks to its light weight and the ability to be stapled, this product will ease and shorten the working time for everyone working with welded waterproofing membranes.
During the installation of welded waterproofing membranes previously, a stronger underlay felt was needed as heat protection and on wooden substrates. Thanks to the quality of the material in T-Roof YEM 1000, a thickness of only 1 mm is sufficient to provide adequate protection and meet all requirements as a substrate for welded waterproofing on wooden substrates.
This means easier and smoother handling for the person who will carry out the work. Additionally, each roll provides almost twice as many square meters of coverage as before.
The underlay fabric has a sufficient quality to be stapled instead of traditionally nailed, which significantly speeds up the work.
As an underlay fabric, this product also has a strong and good adhesive edge for optimal use with concealed fastening.

Here you see a description of the placement and overlap of the underlay fabric. The sheets are laid from right to left and are easiest to lay from bottom to top. Between the underlay fabric and the sheet metal, a protective strip is placed YEP 2500 to prevent moisture from getting in.
