This year's TECCA scholarship recipient announced
Tecca AB is honored to award this year's scholarship to Abraham Frederick Lowegrow – a young person who, with his big heart, dedication, and care for others, has made a lasting impression on both students and teachers.
Abraham originally comes from Wales but has lived in the forests of Småland for almost a decade, specifically in Virserum. During his high school years, he studied the Natural Science program in Vetlanda, where he excelled both academically and socially. With high attendance, good academic results, and a special ability to create a sense of community, Abraham has been an obvious role model for his classmates.
His leadership has been clear – not by taking space, but by giving space. Abraham has a unique ability to support his peers in a way that feels natural and inclusive. He has been an important link between the grades in the program and has actively contributed to strengthening the cohesion between students in different grades. During the school's marketing efforts, he has also been a reliable and positive representative, who with commitment and clarity has been able to convey what the education entails.
Abraham has chosen to deepen his studies by taking both Mathematics 4 and English 7, which testifies to his curiosity and desire to develop. He has a strong interest in sustainability and envisions a future where he works with issues concerning both the environment and people. Perhaps it will be in linguistics, perhaps as a teacher – a profession close to him since both his parents are active in the educational field.
Before further studies, however, a gap year awaits, during which Abraham will work as a teaching assistant – a natural step for someone with his empathetic approach and pedagogical skills. This summer, the move from Virserum to Vetlanda will also take place, where new chapters await.
With this scholarship, we want to recognize a young person who makes a difference every day with warmth, responsibility, and optimism for the future.
Congratulations, Abraham!
