Application Area
The sling is used to lift wall blocks and other materials that are to be placed on the construction site.
Installation
The sling can either be attached by creating a so-called U-lift where the sling attaches to the lifting hook with both ends of the band. Another way is to attach one end to the product to be lifted and the other to the lifting hook (so-called straight lift). An additional method is to form a loop in the product and then attach the other end to the lifting hook.
Important!
- Read the label to assess how the lift is performed and determine the capacity of the strap in the specific case. For example, U-lift, straight lift, lift with certain angles to the attachment point, or choked lift.
- Keep in mind that what you attach to must be strong enough to support the entire weight.
- For repeated use, the straps must be visually inspected and assessed to ensure there is no damage.
- The person lifting is responsible for safety and must assess if everything feels secure.
