The sling can either be attached by creating a so-called U-lift where the sling attaches to the lifting hook with both ends of the band. Another way is to attach one end to the product to be lifted and the other to the lifting hook (so-called straight lift). An additional method is to form a loop in the product and then attach the other end to the lifting hook.

• Read the label to assess how the lift is performed and determine the capacity of the strap in the specific case. For example, U-lift, straight lift, lift with certain angles to the attachment point, or choked lift. The allowed capacity of the strap must not be exceeded.
• Keep in mind that what you attach to must be strong enough to support the entire weight.
• The person lifting is responsible for safety and must assess if everything feels secure.
• Always inspect the condition of the bands before use. Never use slings that are damaged or overloaded.
• Webbing slings will stretch when loaded. Never shorten the slings by tying.
• The bands should be applied in such a way that they carry the load across the entire width of the band.
• Slings must not be placed around sharp edges or over rough surfaces; use edge protection if necessary.
