Floor protection tape
The floor protection tape is a soft PVC tape with rubber adhesive. It is easy to tear and removable with medium adhesive strength. Resistant to most alkalis and acids. Good aging resistance. Under normal conditions, the protective tape leaves no adhesive residue on the surface after removal.
Application Area
The floor protection tape is primarily used indoors as protection against wear on thresholds, moldings, frames, stairs, etc. Also on facades and window frames made of aluminum, sheet metal, etc. However, not on untreated aluminum.
Important!
- Should not be exposed to frequent strong sunlight, large temperature fluctuations, or subjected to heavy loads.
- During unmasking, the tape strip is slowly and carefully removed from the surface.
- On a lacquered wood surface (alternatively sheet metal/steel), the lacquer should be dry and fully cured.
- On untreated wooden surfaces, extra caution should be exercised and taping should preferably be avoided.
- For linoleum and plastic flooring, the carpet supplier should be consulted.
- Storage should be dry, dark, cool, and preferably in an unopened package. Humidity around 50%. Temperature ideally +15 to +20 C.
- WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND TESTING THE TAPE ON THE INTENDED SURFACE BEFORE APPLICATION.
