Application Area

Designed for ventilation of roofs with roofing felt and shingles (pre-cut roofing felt). Minimum roof pitch 14° (1:4) and maximum roof pitch 45° (1:1).

Installation

Cut or leave an approximately 4 cm wide opening along the ridge. At the beam, ensure unobstructed ventilation all the way up to the ridge. End the opening 15 cm inside the inner wall so the gable overhang remains intact. Install the ridge vent from the roof's outer edge. Chain-mount the ridge vents with snap connections and nail into the sheathing (alternatively screw for even better fixation) through the holes in the ridge vent. Nail the overlying felt in the marked nail lines.
For complete instructions, see the assembly guide.

Important!

  • The ridge valve should not be used in situations with extreme weather conditions.
  • At temperatures below 15 °C, connect the ridge vents tothe first notch. This allows room for thermal expansion.
