Application Area

The mouse band is used to prevent mice and other small animals from getting under the panel on all types of buildings while ensuring good ventilation of the air gap between the facade and the wind barrier on the outside of the wall.

Installation

Spikläkten skall vara minst 20 mm tjock. Bottenbrädorna i stående lockpanel skall ha en dimension av 15-28 mm. Musbandet passar för både stående lockpanel (även profilerad
sheet metal) alternatively horizontal panel.

For vertical cover panel: attach the mouse strip to the lowest horizontal nail batten. First, install the bottom boards repeatedly over the mouse strip. Finally, install the cover boards.

For horizontal paneling: attach the mouse band at and to the bottom edge of the wind barrier into the wall sill. Then, install vertical nail battens repeatedly over the serration. The mouse band is joined edge to edge. Install from the bottom upwards on the vertical nail batten.

From below, the panel cavity is now covered with the serration of the mouse band. For horizontal panels, the serration of the mouse band covers the wider cavities between the vertical nail battens.
