T-Syll Duo

A robust, strong sill insulation with insulating, air and moisture sealing properties that has at least 50 years of aging resistance. T-Syll Duo consists of expanded polyethylene in the form of a foam. The foam consists of completely closed and insulating cells. On one side, the foam is coated with moisture protection in the form of an air and vapor barrier. The moisture protection consists of a homogeneous polyethylene film that covers the entire width of the sill insulation plus an extra 20 cm from the edge.

Application Area

Sill insulation against the foundation for exterior walls with integrated overlapping moisture protection (vapor barrier) for easy connection to the foundation slab's comprehensive moisture protection. An insulating layer between the foundation and sill, where capillary-breaking moisture protection and airtightness are desired.

Important!

When splicing and connecting to other moisture protection, Sealing Tape T-Flex should be used.
The width of the sill insulation must always at least match the width of the overlying sill board.
Storage and preservation should be done in a way that protects the product from UV radiation and heat (< +35˚C) as this shortens the product's lifespan.
T-Syll Duo has a built-in UV protection that corresponds to the normal construction time.
