Application Area

Module foil tape is specially adapted for joints, seals, or any damage to module foil (polyethylene foil). With its good adhesive properties and durability, it provides the extra weather protection that modules, which are protected with module foil, need during both transport and storage.

Important!

Installation and application to the surface occur after the protective film is removed.
Consider movements in the substrate and ensure that the module foil is fixed so that the tape alone does not have to absorb larger forces that arise.
The surface must be clean, dry, and grease-free. If unsure about the surface, test before installation!
Do not stretch the tape too elastically as it will always try to shrink back and return to its original shape.
The tape should be stored at room temperature before use when mounting in colder temperatures. In colder temperatures and assembly, the tape will reach its final strength when the temperature is above +5°C.
The tape should be applied with sufficient pressure over the entire back of the tape. Pressure during application increases the final strength of the adhesion!
