T-Foam Duo 25
T-Foam Duo 25 is specially designed for today's high demands when installing floating laminate and parquet floors without glue, as it also requires a simple built-in moisture protection. The product is made of extruded foamed polyethylene with completely closed cells and is combined with a laminated vapor barrier of polyethylene (PE), which provides two different work steps in one during installation. T-Foam Duo 25 is aging and alkali resistant and is available in different lengths and also with a stronger moisture protection/foil (Foam Duo 100) but also completely without moisture protection/vapor barrier (T-Foam).

Application Area
The application area is most types of floor structures where one wants to isolate structure-borne sound, level out irregularities, and provide increased comfort while also needing moisture protection. Thanks to the material's good leveling ability and low deflection at joints, it is recommended for installation with both laminate and parquet floors. T-Foam Duo 25 has very good recovery ability after load and pressure. Suitable for floors with underfloor heating.
Important!
- Storage and warehousing should always be done indoors, packaged or in a way that protects the product from sunlight (UV radiation) and heat (˃ +35°C). The maximum operating temperature when mounted on the floor is also +35°C. Higher temperatures primarily affect aging resistance.
- On substrates of concrete, lightweight concrete, or floor leveling compound, with relative humidity (RH) over 60% (up to a maximum of RH 90%), an aging-resistant moisture barrier such as T-Foam Duo should be used.
- On substrates such as slab on ground, floor joists above warm or humid spaces, or floors with underfloor heating, moisture protection should always be used under wood and laminate floors, such as the combination product T-Foam Duo. However, the maximum relative humidity (RH) allowed in the substrate with moisture protection (vapor barrier) is 90%.
- Every joint and overlap with moisture protection foil should be taped for optimal moisture tightness with Sealing Tape T-Flex. Pay special attention to warm floors and floors above warm or humid spaces.
