Sealant K-36
Sealant K-36 is a black viscous elastic bitumen compound.
Adheres even to damp surfaces
Also works in lower temperatures
Complete adhesive for both top and underlayments
Application Area
Used for bonding seams on bitumen membranes or roof shingles.
Installation
Application with a spatula:
Spread the adhesive in a layer of about 1 mm. For example, with a 4 x 4 mm notched trowel. Hold the trowel at a 45° angle. Press the surfaces together carefully to avoid air bubbles and press firmly until the adhesive seeps out of the joint. Finally, smooth out and scrape off the adhesive that has seeped out with the trowel.
Application with spray gun (tube):
Joint is made with 3 parallel strings (diameter 5-7 mm). Press the surfaces together carefully.
Important!
- Always store dry, protected from sun and heat.
- Clean the surfaces from loose particles, dirt, and grease. Porous or dusty surfaces should first be coated with primer K-80.
- Store at room temperature for 1 day before use.
- Do not overuse the glue. Use the recommended amount and consider usage in sunny and warm weather.
- Dried product and empty packaging, as well as fresh product classified as hazardous waste, must be disposed of according to legislation and authorities' instructions at the local waste management facility.
