T-Foil Robust
T-Foil Robust is an air and vapor barrier with high diffusion density and strength. The product is made of polyethylene that is heat, UV, and alkali resistant. T-Foil Robust is primarily used as an air and vapor barrier (internal climate screen) in the exterior walls, roofs, and floors of thermally insulated buildings. Additionally, the foil is fully recyclable in the cycle during installation waste and in the event of a future demolition of the building.
At least 50 years of aging resistance

Possibility for faster drying
Application Area
T-Foil Robust is primarily used as an air and vapor barrier (internal climate screen) in the exterior walls, roofs, and floors of thermally insulated buildings. It contributes to an airtight and moisture-protected construction, preventing harmful moisture and vapor from being transported to sensitive building parts and minimizing energy losses in heated spaces.
Installation
T-Foil Robust air and vapor barrier should be installed in a system with airtight joint aids such as T-Flex sealing tape or T-Stos butyl for penetrations, etc. See separate installation instructions!
Generally, the climate screen is attached on the inside closest to the heated side of the insulated frame. However, the installation should be offset into the insulation by a maximum of 1/3 of the total insulation thickness. This part functions as an insulated zone inside the climate screen and can be used as an installation space for electrical installations, etc., or serve as a buffer space for mechanical fastenings from the inside/interior. This reduces air leakage in a completed building over time and increases air tightness. The fastening should be done with galvanized staples or battens with nails and at least a c-distance of 600 mm. Fastening can also be done with double-sided T-Duo joint tape / T-Butyl joint band along entire fastening lines where mechanical fastening is not possible. For airtight connections to concrete surfaces, double-sided T-Duo Concrete joint tape is recommended. For more complicated seals and
if there is a need for adhesion, T-Fix adhesive and sealant can be used.
Important!
- Store and keep packaged/protected from sunlight (UV radiation) or consistently higher temperatures (>35°C). The film has freely exposed (not built-in) UV protection that corresponds to the construction time (<6 months).
- If there are any doubts regarding the use of the climate screen and its properties, consult a building expert.
