Flexseal-T
Flexseal-T är en elastisk, flexibel och väderskyddande tätningstejp. Produkten är främst avsedd för utvändigt bruk bakom fasad. Tejpens häftämne består av butyl modifierat med akrylat och bäraren har en slät yta av polyeten. Tejpen har delad skyddsfolie (slitsad) för optimal tejpning i vinklar och dess elastiska egenskaper gör den enkel att montera i hörn. Tejpen har unika egenskaper som gör den mycket elastisk och behåller sin form efter töjning.

Application Area
Primarily used as a secondary seal under windows/doors to channel out water that may penetrate the structure. It can also be used as a sealing collar/flange for various types of pass-throughs. Additionally, it can be used for joints/connections generally in foundations, floors, and walls. Adheres excellently to most surfaces (e.g., concrete, wood, metal, windproof fabric, radon membrane, vapor barrier, moisture barrier, and external board).
Installation
The surface must be smooth, dry, frost-free, clean, and grease-free. For a waterproof installation, careful and compact pressure is required. It is recommended to use a mounting roller. Test the adhesion on the surface before use. More porous surfaces should be primed with, for example, Primer K-80 or acrylic primer before application.
Important!
- Clean the surface before applying the tape. Adhesion does not work on frosty surfaces.
- The adhesion is good even in colder temperatures, but for optimal results, at least +5 °C is recommended. In colder weather, a heat gun can be used to quickly improve adhesion.
- The product should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight.
