T-Wind Pro

T-Wind Pro är ett modernt vindskydd som utgör den yttre klimatskärmen på utsidan av isoleringen ytterväggskonstruktioner. Duken är alkali- och åldringsbeständig med en diffusionsöppen polyeten-barriär skyddad av två fiberdukar av polypropen (nonwoven). Duken är elastisk och mjuk att arbeta med och den vita och ljusa färgen ser till att släppa in ljus under byggtiden och blottar bakomvarande konstruktion. Duken har dessutom ett utökat väderskydd av högsta klass W1 som tillåter tuffare väderexponering monterat på vägg.

Application Area

T-Wind Pro is primarily used as a wind barrier (external climate screen) in exterior walls but also in roofs with air gaps (parallel roofs) and as a bottom fabric in joists for crawl or pier foundations in thermally insulated buildings. T-Wind Pro contributes to an airtight external climate screen while allowing moisture to escape thanks to its diffusion-open properties.

Installation

The T-Wind Pro wind protection should be installed in a system with airtight joint aids such as sealing tape T-Flex Outdoor, Airtight-T, or sleeve T-Stos butyl for pass-throughs, etc. (see separate installation instructions).

Generellt fästs klimatskärmen på utsidan av den isolerade stommen. Infästningen skall ske sparsamt med korrosionsskyddad klammer för att sedan fixeras med spikad läkt (se separat monteringsanvisning). Infästningen kan också ske med dubbelhäftande skarvtejp T-Duo/skarvband T-Butyl i hela infästningslinjer där mekanisk infästning ej är möjlig.
With this fastening method, the strength against, for example, wind impact can decrease. For airtight connections to concrete surfaces, double-sided joint tape T-Duo Concrete is recommended. For more complex seals and adhesion needs, T-Fix adhesive and sealing compound can be used.

Important!

Splicing aids such as tape or splice bands must be approved for use in systems with T-Wind Pro.
Fasteners such as staples or nails must be corrosion-protected.
Storage and warehousing should always be done packaged or in a way that the wind protection fabric is protected from UV radiation and higher temperatures. Poor weather conditions during installation are always a risk factor for moisture damage.
When mounting with double-sided tape (Joint Tape T-Duo/Joint Band T-Butyl), the strength against, for example, wind impact may decrease.
T-Wind Pro has UV protection (sunlight equivalent to a construction period of 4 months, as a wind barrier. Thereafter, the wind barrier should be covered by the facade. For lasting water tightness (W1) and adequate weather protection during the summer months, UV exposure should be reduced to a maximum of 6 weeks
