T-Foil Standard Bio
T-Foil Standard BIO is an air and vapor barrier made of alkali and aging-resistant polyethylene with high diffusion density and strength. The product is made from bio-based LD polyethylene produced from 90% fossil-free and renewable plant material. The plant material also binds carbon dioxide from the air during the growth process. This means that the product's "green" polyethylene helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional polyethylene made from fossil materials such as oil or natural gas. An environmentally improving product from the start, indeed. Additionally, the foil is also fully recyclable in the cycle during installation waste and during a future demolition of the building.

Application Area
T-Foil Standard BIO is primarily used as an air and vapor barrier (internal climate screen) in the outer walls, roofs, and floors of thermally insulated buildings. It contributes to an airtight and moisture-protected construction, preventing harmful moisture and vapor from being transported to sensitive building parts and minimizing
energy losses in heated spaces.
Installation
The air and vapor barrier should be installed in a system with airtight sealing aids such as T-Flex Sealing Tape or Sleeves for penetrations, etc. See separate installation instructions!
Important!
- Store and keep packaged/protected from sunlight (UV radiation) or consistently higher temperatures (>35°C). The film has freely exposed (not built-in) UV protection that corresponds to the construction time (<6 months).
- If there are any doubts regarding the use of the climate screen and its properties, consult a building expert.
