Roofseal-T / Corner

Roofseal-T is a black single-sided adhesive tape that is flexible and easy to apply. The product is available both on rolls and as sheets. The sealing tape consists of butyl adhesive and UV-protected aluminum foil. The special creped coated aluminum allows for a 60% length extension. The tape on the roll has split protective foil (slit) for optimal taping in angles.

Application Area

Roofseal-T is a sealing tape and Roofseal-T Corner is a corner sealing sheet. Both products are intended for sealing roofs with underlay fabric or roofing underlay.
They can be used for repairing minor damages and at detailed connections, such as corners, dormers, skylights, gutters, and chimneys.

Installation

Installation should be done with full pressure on the tape backing (preferably use a roller) according to the current installation instructions. For a waterproof installation, a careful and compact pressure is required. For best results, fold the tape before removing the protective film when taping in angles and corners. The product adheres to most materials, but they must be smooth, clean, frost-free, and dry. If uncertain, test the adhesive ability on the surface before use. On sanded roofing underlay and rusty surfaces, pre-treatment with Primer K-80 is required. First, brush away loose material before applying the primer.

Important!

During storage, the product should not be exposed to temperatures above + 40 °C
The surface should be clean, dry, and smooth during application. Follow the recommended working temperature for best results. Use primer if necessary.
The tape should be stored in a warm place before installation for the best mounting results. At low temperatures, use a heat gun to improve adhesion.
