T-Sleeve Butyl

Lufttätande och fuktskyddande genomföringsstosar gjorda av butylhäftämne, aluminiumfolie och med damask av EPDM gummi. Butylhäftämnet är försett med skyddspapper som avlägsnas vid montaget. Alla ingående material har goda åldringsegenskaper, är fuktbeständiga och lufttäta. Finns i olika dimensioner från 15mm - 165 mm samt varierande flexibilitet upp till 90° mm.

Application Area

The pass-throughs are intended for internal and external use. For exterior wall materials such as external windproof fabric (nonwoven), external windproof board (test adhesion), vapor barrier (plastic film), or vapor brake (nonwoven) internally in walls and ceilings. External roof construction of roofing underlay, underlay fabric, or underlay roof (e.g., nonwoven material or reinforced foil) as well as on base constructions (primed surface or moisture protection of polymer). Used as accessories for TECCA's internal and external climate screens in the system. T-Stos Butyl consists of an EPDM rubber cylinder, straight or pleated, and a collar of aluminum foil with butyl adhesive provided with protective paper. Available in various flexible designs with bendability up to 90°.

Installation

Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Apply the sleeve over the pipe/cable and then remove the protective paper under the collar with even pressure against the surface. For sleeves 100-125mm and 150-165mm, the top level of the rubber sleeve can be cut off when using the maximum diameter. In cold weather, below +10˚C, it is recommended to store the sleeve indoors before installation. Pay close attention to the installation temperature as the result depends on it. For optimal adhesion and colder temperatures, gentle heating with a hot air gun can be used. When installing on a bitumen surface (roofing underlay), it is recommended to use/apply bitumen primer K-80 first and let it dry before application.
