Förkomprimerat drevband av impregnerat PUR (Polyuretan) foam med kant (insida) försedd med polyetenfolie (ångspärr) samt undersida med klisterremsa för snabb och enkel montering. Utvändig sida är diffusionsöppen men slagregnsskyddad och vattentät upp till 1000 Pa. Täthetsförhållande (diffusion) utsidainsida är 1:50. Drevbandets PUR-foam är termiskt och akustiskt isolerande.

Application Area
For sealing and jointing during the new installation of windows and doors, primarily in insulated constructions. The sealing tape has a diffusion-tight inside, a diffusion-open outside, a waterproof outside, absolute airtightness, good thermal insulation capability, and sound insulation. It can be exposed to weather and sunlight for a long time.
Installation
The installation is carried out according to the installation instructions with adhesive tape around the frame on the window/door. After fixing the frame in the section, wall, or ceiling, the expanding foam tape self-expands so that the joint is completely sealed and tightened. Important!
- The band with the expansion area should be selected based on the size of the caulking gap. The actual gap should be within the expansion area to achieve relevant properties!
- The window/door frame must be clean and dry when applying the sealing strip.
- Should be stored dry in a sealed package and protected from sunlight.
- Storage temperature +1°C to +20°C.
- After using a started roll, it should be promptly resealed with sealing tape for future use.
- In colder weather, the expansion time can be significantly extended. Up to several days in some cases. Elevated temperature or gentle heating accelerates the process.
